Event & Venue Information:

The Regional Junior Cadet Circuit (RJCC) is designed to promote and develop strong regional tournaments for Junior/Cadet aged fencer who seeks competitive opportunities beyond the local and division levels but below the NAC Junior/Cadet levels. In each RJCC category (Junior and Cadet), points will be awarded to all of the fencers. Fencers who wish to qualify for Junior Olympics or the July Challenge based on points earned at this tournament may count those points.

Equipment check will be the same as national tournaments, including body and mask cords, gloves, and foil bibs.

We will have high level national referees directing the tournament. Replay will be used for the semi-final and final bouts in each event.

All events will be held at Denver Fencing Center. We are located at
1930 S Navajo St
Denver, CO 80223
Our venue will be open starting at the following times for equipment check and warm up:
Saturday 12/31/16 9:30 am
Monday 01/02/17 7:00 am
***Please do not arrive before those times, as we will not have personnel on hand to assist you.

Free parking at the venue is available on the street and to the south of the Denver Fencing Center building. Overflow parking is also available at Ruby Hill Park at the end of the block. Please do not block driveways or use the parking areas of other businesses in the neighborhood.

36 Hours in Denver, compliments of nytimes.com:

The city of Denver offers a multitude of activities that will be of interest to visiting fencers and their families. Restaurants and micro-breweries are varied and plentiful. Take the RTD light rail to the Denver Performing Arts Center, the 16th Street Mall, the Tattered Cover Bookstore, the Pepsi Center, Coors Field, the newly opened History Colorado Center, the Children's Museum, and the Denver Art Museum. REI’s flagship store, with its four story climbing wall, the Downtown Aquarium, and Elitch Gardens amusement park are about 1.3 mile walks from the downtown hotels and RTD stops.

If you wish to range a bit further, Colorado's famed ski resorts are just a two-hour drive away.
