2015 BladeFest DIV 2 and Vet ROC Tournament Information

Tournament Dates: August 21-23, 2015
• Pre-registration is now open for the 6th Annual BladeFest Division 2 and VET ROC! Men's and Women's Division II and VET ROC Events in all 3 weapons!
• Prizes to be awarded for 1st place through 3rd place in each event. There will be a 3-Weapon prize for both Veteran ROC Men and Women’s events!
• As a Division 2 ROC, the top 10% (with a minimum of 4) competitors qualify for Division 2! All Veteran aged fencers qualify for their respective age brackets.
• Division 2 (Senior) events are open to fencers born in 2002 or earlier. Veteran events are open to fencers born in 1975 or earlier
• Updated info will be posted on Facebook at (https://www.facebook.com/bladefest) and on AskFred.net.
• Event coordinator can by emailed at: bladefestevents2015@gmail.com
• USFA Membership or foreign equivalent is required to participate. The 2015-2016 USFA season starts August 1, so be sure to renew on time. You can also renew at the tournament.
• Full uniform and electric gear per WWD Equipment requirements. A limited supply of electric equipment will be available for renting at the event itself, but it is all club gear and you take your chances with it. Equipment checks are required for Masks, Lames, Over Gloves, Body Cords and Mask Cords. Weapons will be checked on strip.
Preregistration deadline is August 20, 2015 11:59pm.
Fees:
-Before July 25th: $12 registration + $25 per event (early registration discount)
-July 25 to August 8: $25 registration + $25 per event (standard rate)
-After August 8: $50 registration + $50 per event (late fee)
• Payment for event registration will be handled through AskFred.net during sign-up. Payment can also be made the day of the event at the venue with the advertised late fees. It pays to pre-register and pay early!
• Participants can order a commemorative T-Shirt at the time of registration for $15.00. Past event shirts will be available at the venue for $5.00.
• Healthy snacks and beverages will be available at the event for purchase.
