USFA RULES
All USFA rules will be enforced in the tournament. Please bring proof of USFA membership or you will not be allowed to compete. New USFA membership applications will be available at the tournament.

COMPETITION FORMAT
Standard USFA pool format with 100 percent advancing to direct elimination with no repechage.

ARMORER
The tournament will have an armorer to check fencing equipment before each competition and to assist with equipment problems during the tournament. Masks and body cords will be checked for all events. In addition, lames will be checked for foil and lames/cuffs for saber.

The armory will be opened for early equipment check on Friday night from 6PM to 9PM at the venue. We are encouraging everybody with an 8AM start time on Saturday to take advantage of this early equipment check.

LIVE RESULTS
This year we will be using the latest version of Fencing Time and adding live results:

EVENT KIOSK
In addition to the LCD monitor that we’ve used at past tournaments, we are adding an event kiosk that will be an additional source of event data. This event kiosk will consist of a LCD monitor with a mouse. The live results web site will be displayed so that fencers/coaches/parents will be able to navigate through all of the event data. When pools or DE's are called, you can see where you need to be on either the LCD monitor that we've always had, on the new event kiosk, or on your Internet-enabled mobile device.

MOBILE ACCESS
If you have a Internet-enabled mobile device you may be able to view the live results on your own device eliminating the need to stand around either monitor. To see if your mobile device is compatible, you can see if the live link below will display on your device.

SET YOUR CLOCKS
For those coming from other time zones, Amarillo is in the Central Time Zone. Be sure to set your clocks accordingly.

FENCER CONTACT LIST
We are trying something new this year to help locate missing fencers, including those who have not checked in just before an event and those who are not at the assigned strip for pools or a DE bout. We will announce the missing fencer's name via the PA system; however, if you wish to add your name and contact number number via the link below, we will also call or text you from the bout committee. This may help if you happen to be out of ear shot of the PA system in the main gym. Of course this is no guarantee that you'll answer the call if we try to contact you, but it may help your chances of not missing out of an event.
